How is it illegal? This is the foundation of capitalism, selling goods for a profit

    • You can sell knockoffs (KO) items on eBay - Lego, Transformers, Jordans - as long as you state it as such. Don't use "fake", use "KO", "Compatible", "Replica"

    Are they fake?

Yep, and you'd be leaving yourself open to paypal claims. And my understanding is that if they're fakes they don't even need to return them to get their money back, or at least it used to be that way.

  • Depends if they're fake or not. I'd say they probably are

      Of course they're fake.

OP hasnt said what league it is. For all we know they could be CSL

        • besides tim cahill jersey I doubt anyone will want any other one

          http://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale?catId=0&initiative_id=SB…

          looking at those prices hmmm

in hong kong, jersey can go quite cheap, I got the socceroo's one for 50 bucks during the world cup, but that's cause they had to get all nations and no one wanted Australia :P, those prices seem a bit cheap, as they include numbers and letters (prolly not official ones)

        • @djones145: 50 doesn't sound cheap for some reason….

        • @Forfiet:
during the world cup, rebel was selling all jerseys for 120 (and half price once they got kicked out!)

        • @djones145: Right, didn't think of demand at the time. whoops

As long as you are disclosing they are replicas and not trying to flog them off as originals then there is no issues, buyer knows what they are getting

    • Even if they're replicas, brands get shitty when their logo is reproduced.

  • yeah, if you clearly say if it's replica or not, then I don't see why it's illegal.

  • is it really worth it?

The rights holders can require ebay to delete your listings if they are not genuine. Even if they are genuine in China, if the local rights holders are different they can hassle ebay.
