Agreed, the $1 tier is great f you don't already own Mediaeval 2. There are lots of good mods available for Mediaeval 2 (and Rome 1), including a 6 GB Warhammer one (Call of Warhammer), Third Age Total War, Stainless Steel (improved vanilla gameplay), and Broken Crescent.

For Rome 1 try Europa Barbarorum, SPQR , Roma Surrectum.

I suspect Nappy Total War will be added to the middle tier, and if you are lucky maybe even Shogun 2.

    • It's a bit weird to me that Rome 1's soundtrack is at tier 1, but the game itself is nowhere in this bundle. I guess it could show up later in tier 2…

  • Take a risk on Tier 2, if Shogun is added it is the best recent Total War game and you also get Medieval 2 which is good but great with mods.

I have them all except Attila, but after Rome 2 I've loat interest in this company.

  • Wow…Medieval Total War I was my favourite and since getting on Win 7 64b has been un-playable.

Seriously considering getting the second tier for that and conquering all of Europe / Asia Minor / North Africa for the glory of Scandinavia!

Total War: ARENA will enter Closed Beta on the 24th September: Source

  • That's called bought!!!! $15 tier thank you

  • What tier would you folks recommend?

I am a casual gamer. I'd rather play a few online matches of FIFA or COD than one game of Dota or Civ V.

    • Tier 1. Medieval II is a good game. They really soak up some time, so unless you are a fan I would not buy more than one of these games.

How in the shit can you not have Rome Total War (the first one) + Expansions in this bundle? It's easily still the best Total War game after Shogun II.

Yes, I commented above how weird it is that they bundled the soundtrack but not the game. Maybe tier 2 will get it in an update.

I loved that game from top to bottom. Went on a complete roman binge after playing it, read Ovid and Gibbon and all that stuff.

  • Can anyone validate the extra maybe ~$10AUD for Rome 2?

I am thinking about jumping on Tier 3 if anyone can confirm good mp and good solid gameplay.

  • Okay so they updated the games, you now get Shogun 2 Complete and Napoleon Complete. This makes it a good deal for anyone who likes strategy games.

For $15, you get a lot. I spent $1 so I don't need the discs for Medieval 2 anymore. Shame Empire and Napoleon are not working in Windows 10 for me.

It could have been the complete set for all Total War games before Attila except it is missing Rome: Total War and Medieval: Total War. I'm not sure why those two would be missing, shame because there are some great mods for Rome: Total War. Missing out on Medieval: Total War is no real loss, Medieval 2 is much better.
