Forza Motorsport 6 V Forza Horizon 2

I havent finished FH2 as i only got it a few weeks ago. I was lucky enough to get a cheap copy of F6 today which i only bought coz so cheap.

its downloading now.

So to anyone whos played both, should i abandon FH2 or just wait to start F6 til i finish?

Ive heard F6 is pretty sweet, but is it great enough to give up on FH2???

Everyone went spastic over FH2 but I'm kind of ambivalent about it… i finished the game as far as getting both endings and i think i ended up with over 100 of the 168 races done… and I didnt Porsche and the Storm Island DLC…

Its… forgetable. I preferred Horizon 1. But good or bad I would have bought and played it anyway. The drive model is simplistic as hell but saying that F6 feels a bit simplified over F5.

FH2 is so cheap now its not an issue, just get it.

I played both at the same time.

    • Haha yeh dude i think u misread….im playin fh2 but got f6 on the DL. Q' was to forget about fh2 and just start f6 or not?

      • play both, at the same time

hell, i jump between 4 consoles all the time

i get shitty when i cant finish a race or i'm playing an FPS and cant finish the level

i'm generally not the kind to bash with one game all the time… or realistically, very few games are THAT good that it sucks you in over everything else

  • And then NFS around the corner… Now I just need an XB1 lol

  • depends if u prefer it more arcadey

i like em both but the proper forza games are my staple, i live in the online lobbies

there's leagues now too which is new but i havent got into it enough to know if it's going ot be good or not yet

  • Waiting for NFS, Played both the new Forza and i own FH2

Love FH2 free roam and rivals etc can be a hoot.

my problem with F6 yes it is clean, yes they have made the game better.

But it is still the same game as Forza 5 it has better enviroments/roads/cars/mechanics!

Is missing the most played maps and hasn't had any features really added, just improved.

I will buy F6 but not for $90 just doesn't seem worth it! on the other hand NFS looks SICKO!.

    • I sincerely hope you dont buy fifa each year then!

Keep you eye out on ebay for cheaper copies - i nabbed one for $30 on launch day

Another hack to get a cheap copy is to use ebays current $50 voucher - buy two copies at $78 each sell one for $70 and youll be left with a copy for yourself and a $50 voucher… Tha leaves you $40 out fof pocket for the game if you use the voucher wiseley

It depends, FH2 focuses more on the social aspect of the racing genre whereas F6 as expected leans towards the bare racing aspect. Basically if you like racing with mates play FH2, and if you're more of a solo racer (vs. CPU) go for F6. If it were me, I would still want to complete FH2, whilst also incorporating a bit of F6.
