  • You don't find GPS.

    GPS find you.

In all seriousness though, you've ruled out mobile apps like google maps, navigon, metroview, here maps? May be viable options if you only ever use it occasionally and have a good car charger and phone mount.

    • I have google maps and scout navigation and maps installed on my asus zenfone but GPS always loses signal and battery drains fast (esp. when location and cellular data is turned on) …. So recommend me a car GPS. :)

No matter what you decide to buy, make sure it comes with lifetime maps. If it doesn't, DO NOT BUY IT.

I'm a big fan of Garmin GPSs, we have four in my family.

With your budget and what JB HiFi lists on their web site, I'd choose the Garmin Nuvi 2597LMT for $134.40. One of my kids has this model.

  • What did you get, adii?

    • G'day mate. sorry for the late reply. I grabbed one Garmin Nuvi 2597LMT last night from JB's for $127 (asked for price match/beat in TGG before heading to JB's, but the best they can give was $168). used it for a 20 kms ride and I must say its real good, easy interference, easy to set-up and with all required features (lane assist, Bluetooth, lifetime LMT, voice navigation). thanks for helping me out.:)
