Are bikes in store already assembled? If I buy a bike in store do I also need to pay for assembling?
No. They will assemble and test it for you.
I'll always have a lot of love for these guys because of how graciously (even enthusiastically) they've honoured their "$10 free spend/ no minimum purchase" vouchers in the past; even at their new Smith st. (Collingwood/VIC) joint when the "everything half price" sale was on. While I was there picking up a free D-lock with it, some old (slightly batty) geezer who could evidently hardly speak English 'rolled in' with his equally old looking bike, which was evidently having a few issues… For the next 4 or 5 minutes the old guy pointed at stuff on his bike and grunted, while a kindly 'Reid bloke' checked each bit he pointed at and tightened up nuts/bolts/made the required adjustments. Then they cheerily sent him on his way with a smile. Good people there.
