I was looking for 5W LED light and bought one from Woolworths. The ticket price was $15.75 however it got scanned at $2 (saving of $13.75). There is no special price ticket so there should be heaps of stock in every store. I just checked and it is also available online.

Ensure you buy only warm light version because cool light was scanning at full price.

Masters sell the similar 4 x LED globes for $35.

    No stock Figtree or Unanderra (NSW) of the MR16's.

    Figtree had the 9.5W LED Philips ES Bulbs for $7 in both colour temperatures. Not enough there to post a deal.

    Replaced 25 50w halogens. Thanks OP. These are very direct but who can complain. 2 of 25 have a rare flicker so may need to replace the transformers.

    The shelves now have the "Special Label" Better than Half price on them so it will hard to find any stores with stock.
    I managed to get some before the labels went on.
    So on the Northern Beaches of Sydney there are non at Mona Vale, Narrabeen, Dee Why, Warringah Mall, Balgowlah or Frenchs Forest.
    I only needed 8 more.

      Avalon still has a few $2 packs as of 4:45pm. Warm white only. 2700k. Philips 5x5w 240v led 380 lumens non dimmable, 8w (25w) 420 lumens Tri tube 8w olsent. 8w (40w) 440 lumens compact flourescent lamp ( tube) olsent.

        oops meant to write the 5x5w Mr16 is GU5.3 12v not 240v. A few bayonet type but mostly Edison screw for the Olsent tube type

    Out of my curiosity, I thought Woolworths and Coles signed up for the scan price promise which the ticket price is the same as the scanned price otherwise you can get it for free right? Or it is only applicable if the scanned price is higher than the ticket price?

    Order cancelled. No stock in Warehouse or my pickup store. Confirmed discontinued line. Online don't offer Rain checks. Can rain check in store but they won't be restocking any time soon.

    Bulb section of my local Woolworths was a mess! Products in incorrect place on shelf/tags not relating to correct items, etc.

    My advice is to use the Woolworths app barcode scanner and scan items of interest. If no price shows, then not on special, otherwise the special price will be displayed. Managed to pick up a few of these Olsent $2 specials, despite not showing to be marked down on the shelf.

        The Mr16 LED downlight…

        Gotta admit, the 24 degree beam angle ain't great, but definitely using significantly less power if my energy monitor is to be believed..

    Thanks, just got 3x (2x Olsent Cool White 14W Bulbs) at Gordon NSW woolies.
    They were edison screw not BC.
    Lots of Olsent bulbs on special - very confusing finding whats what.

      checked today and mr16 is scanned @ around $15.5
      plenty of stocks….. :P
