  • Hey bud, thanks for all your deals over the years. But you should know by now to check cashrewards terms to confirm if you can use coupon code to get cash back. In this case you can't.

    • this code works on Cashrewards

  • what is masterpass?

    • it literally too me 3 seconds to find the info on google
"MasterPass is the new simple, convenient way to pay online with the multi-tiered security of the MasterCard network in partnership with your own bank. It's the perfect combination of safety and convenience. With MasterPass, your payment and shipping information is stored by your bank in one safe place."

      • yes saw that too

        but still not clear

        is it like paypal?

        I been reading…

you need to use your netbank password when checking out
that's risky using it all the time to buy stuff

        • Yes, its like paypal.
I've linked my Masterpass account to Amex and only need to login to Masterpass to pay.
Might be different to your account?
They even have one for Visa, which is called Visa Checkout.

        • @Mr Unreliable:

But according to the terms and condition

          https://www.commbank.com.au/personal/credit-cards/checkout-t…

          when you checkout you use

          -your email and
          -your netbank password..

I do not think this is a good idea to be inputting your netbank password everytime you want to checkout at different stores..
          that is too risky

Imagine doing this at public computers etc..where they might have installed keyboard loggers or have malware etc..

That's why I like paypal cos it separates your bank from your paypal password.

        • Mate, I just made a payment 2 days ago and did not need to use netbank password (just masterpass)
If you setup your account using netbank password, thats your fault.

        • @Mr Unreliable:

          Read this

          https://www.commbank.com.au/personal/credit-cards/checkout-t…

          3.1 Email address and password
Your email address recorded in "My contact details" in NetBank is used to log on to CommBank Checkout.
If you forget your email address, you can check it in NetBank. You can also change your email address recorded in "My contact details" in NetBank. If you do, the email address you use to log on to CommBank Checkout will also change.

**When you log on to CommBank Checkout you will use your NetBank password.

How else would you verify the masterpass is your account.

You need to use the password of your netbank

          ===

I have just tested this, and indeed you do need to enter your netbank password via your bank's website each time you want to checkout

        • Whatever mate, don't use it then.

  • Keep in mind oo.com.au are essentially the same site and having a $3 site-wide delivery promotion today, so might end up cheaper for lower priced items.
