Got completely ripped off by an idiotic lawyer to read s32 for $165.
Better ideas how to approach these reviews?
I mean I can't pay $165 for every home I am serious about. I reckon I need to go through 4-5 before I have a home!

That is very expensive. I think the going rate is about $70+GST to review contracts. Well that is what I pay my lawyer in Sydney. With Melbourne I had good experience with De Marco Lawyers.
Edit: I like to haggle with solicitors. Normally can get 10% discount, especially if you dealt with them before.
