    I lift weights regularly. For about 7 weeks, I went on a heavy lifting program. All compound lifts (i.e. squats, deadlifts, bench press, shoulder press) in the same day. About 3 weeks in, by tendons started to ache (especially my knees, with heavy squats as I go very low). Since taking fish oil (and also by chance, Natures own), it has fixed this issue almost completely. I take 7 or 8 tablets a day.

    EDIT: For reference, my fish intake is typically at least 400g of Ocean Twout once a week, and sometimes also have salmon (~250g) in addition to this.

    Needless to say, I am a convert to fish oil supplement.

      I took 8 pills a day for a few months and cyclying knee ache didnt go away… Try 1 pill of Krill Oil a day and in one week pain is gone.

      Kill Oil for Arthritis Pain
      Fish OIl for Heart Heatlh

        Yup Krill Oil is meant to be of greater strength. But it is also significantly more expensive for the quantity when compared to the fish oil.

        Also, Glucosamine is also meant to be a good supplement for tendon issues which I have also tried but have not noticed any difference since taking fish oil.

      It's not "Natures Own", they have their own brand, "Biosource" but I haven't noticed any difference between brands for fish oil.

  I wonder if there's much of a difference between all the different brands? A lot of them don't label where they're made, where the fish are from etc. I remembered The Pan Pharmaceutical scandal in early 2000s and many brands were effected. Anyway, currently Cenovis odorless 1000mg 500 capsules are $15 at woolies.
