Hey guys, I'm just getting back into the whole 'exercising' thing. In my younger years I used to boil eggs, but I don't want to waste the egg yolks. I thought there'd be 'egg white protein' powder I could buy instead. I'm severely allergic to dairy so I cannot use whey and I don't want to use soy protein.
What can people recommend?

You can find those @ the frozen section @ most woolies & coles. They're usually together with the baking stuff like pastry etc.
What's so bad about the yolks? Plenty of other very useful nutrition in there. I've heard studies show that eating eggs doesn't significantly raise your BCL.
There is also rice protein isolate although i cannot recoomend it due to it's taste - maybe you'll fare better.
And beef protein isolate.
Thaw and microwave into scrambled eggs/omelette would be the easiest.
What does it taste like , once you've thawed and microwaved it?
Just like egg whites — bland. I add pepper and mustard for some flavour.
@Scrooge McDuck: I just found out that JJB has been having it with his banana-cinnamon-almond-milk-peanut-butter-oatmeal every morning :-&
It only sounds revolting until you remember that there are eggs in cakes and other delicious baked confections. :)

He gets almonds for 'cheap' through a work contact. We get the kids to make the almond milk (and the cookies with the leftover almond pulp). Keeps them entertained for all of 10 minutes :)

I'm looking at this now, but it says the eggs are from Denmark… I'd MUCH prefer something from Australian egg whites!

I don't mind paying extra for good quality.
If you can get over the fact that the egg protein is from Denmark you'll be paying less for the highest quality. Bulknutrients have a significant reputation for the highest standards, meaning purity, at the lowest (consistent) price.
Sometimes some other brands that have a similar reputation are cheaper though.

I just thought buying eggs that came from Australia would yield better quality than eggs from another country.
I just found 'Simply Egg Whites' that comes in a bottle and it contains egg whites that are ready to drink straight from the bottle.
