Fairly sure the 500GB version is the new model (CUH-1200).
There are some references to it being the new model in this bundle when you google it, plus on the box the console pretty clearly totally matte, rather than the gloss top corner of the first models.
Plus the bundle box itself has the new model number written on it.
Is the 1tb version the newer one? I can't tell if it's matte In the picture

Just out of curiosity, what is the difference between the old and new models? And does anyone know if they are likely to get cheaper in the next 6 months or so? I have plans to buy a 1TB one earlyish next year but am wondering if price wise I would be better off grabbing one before christmas.
