  I am positive the deal because a cash discount up front is better than 'Rewards nights' however I want to hi-lite that :-
  'You can’t collect or redeem Hotels.com™ Rewards nights when you use this coupon.'
  (In my opinion worth aprox 7%) So don't kill yourselves to meet the $300 min. spend.

  I can't for the life of me work out where to enter the coupon code - checked hotels.com FAQ and it states: 'enter your voucher code in the field "Apply a Discount Code", located on the right side of the page in the Booking Summary box."

  However I can't see anywhere to enter it there. Can anyone help?

    It's just after you click book button on the right side under the total amount. Sometime you have to click Apply voucher.

  Also just note that you have to spend $300 after the voucher. I've just tried it.

  Edit: actually, it's before taxes and fees, rather than after the voucher. Either way, bugger for me.
