To everyone who has bought stuff from Gear Best, how is the average processing times? I've read/heard negative things about how slow they take to place the order and send the items out.
My other question is would it be worth it to choose 'expedited shipping' from them, which apparently uses DHL. It's quoted to take 3-5 business days, but surely, Gear Best would take twice that time to get it processed?
Yep still havent got mine yet either ……….. will give them a wide berth in the future.

I ordered a mobile with expedited shipping. It came reasonably quickly. I can't remember the exact times, but it was in the timeframe they advertised.
I have also received normal shipped items 3 months after order.
My guess is they save a small amount of shipping fees by bundling stuff up into destination lots, to get a volume discount. So if you order something the day after they happen to ship the last pile destined for AU, it can take weeks until the pile of other AU bound items to get big enough for the next shipment.
If that's true then it's a very bad practice as ~100 of those parcel envelops cost them $1 and even less to ship each one.
I mean they get a discount if they lodge parcels in bulk, so it might cost $1ea one at a time, but if they lodge 200 parcels at once they might be charged $0.95ea.
Auspost has some products for business that offer discounts in a similar way.
In any case, I am just speculating as to why there is such a huge variability in their delivery times.
My last order was Unregistered air mail - supposed to take 15-28 business days.

Checked my account and found that One item has been shipped and the other two have not even left let……. Maybe sometime in 2020?

usually 7-14 days processing then 30 - 45 days shipping for me
