it was suppose to be sent in August (based on tracking)

Mod 7/10/15: Due to an increasing number of issues with GearBest, we have today banned the store from all deal posts (both rep and non rep) on OzBargain.

A member contacted us last week to express their concerns about the store; in relation to this and other threads. It appears quite clear that the majority of members feel it would no longer be beneficial to have these posts on OzBargain. The ban will be an indefinite one, we may review it if we see a significant improvement and will be monitoring this and other threads for evidence of that.

    Still waiting for my item. Definitely won't be purchasing from Gearbest unless I'm happy to wait for three months with the bleak possibly that my item will never arrive.

    I am in the same boat. Haven't received mine either.

    What is OzB's stance on this? Do vendors get hit with the naughty brush if they fail to live up to customers expectations?

      I think delays are expected, but this is terrible, 1 month to even ship the items, when it's still in stock, and over 2 months for delivery….

      Warning others of this in new deals would be fair

    I got in touch with them, and they are happy to resend or refund if I don't receive it by 8/10 (Mine was shipped out on the 8/8).

        Disputing this one. I don't mind to pay back if the item did arrive, but highly unlikely this will happen after 2 months+ of waiting.

        I think if we have more disputes raised, PayPal might do something, at least hold up their funds.

        Have already raised mine. THey blamed it on me not getting tracking. Said to wait a few more days.
        Absolutely atrocious delivery times. I will be using tinydeal from now on.

        Ordered Google Cardboard V2 a month after ordering the Ritechs and they arrived within 2 weeks.

    The delviery way you choose will need 10 to 25 business days to arrive to you after we send out your order, you can get it later.

    If some factors effect the delivery time, it will been delayed some days, it's out of our control.

    Your order is still on the way to you now, it's kind of you if you can keep waiting for the order.

        first i opened a dispute via paypal, then gearbest responded offering either reship for $2, or a refund. i replied to aaccept the refund offer, then no response from gearbest ever since. now i've escalated the dispute to a claim, awaiting for gearbest to respond.

        Filed a dispute on the 4/9. They offered 50% refund but I demanded the full amount.Ascalated the dispute to a claim 2 days ago.Today I received an email from Gearbest asking me to kindly wait 10-25 working days for the delivery of the item. How many working days are there from the 11/8 to today?Cause here in Australia it's definitely more than 25!

          @djones145: Quite comparable, some of them will post you a photo that a white bag/box with a label likes your name and address, and that's it. Nothing received over 2 months and told you that you did not purchase the "Traceable" post, which don't even have that option in place when you order, cause it's FREE POSTAGE.

          I was going to bring up AliExpress & Ebay having much the same issues.
          Ebay is much better and faster than AliExpress in sending goods I find.

          AliExpress may be the cheapest overall place on the planet for stuff, so they're still my favourite.

          The old trick to AliExpress is to only go with buyers with proven sales record, click "Top-Rated". The rating system is more honest, so 89% rating on AliExpress may be like 98.8% on Ebay.

          I suspect sometimes after sale is made, if the seller can't get stock at profit level, they just don't send it, and don't tell you. Two months later you are asking for refund if you remember to. Shady practices.

    After following up, they have just emailed me to say that I should wait until at least 10 October before I should be expected to receive it or contact them again. They say it "shipped" on 10 August, so I should expect 45 business days delivery after a month to ship it.

    They have reps on this site that should be responding to this sort of thing, or just give the entire site and their scams the boot.

        Just got an email tonight saying they've provided a tracking number and PayPal has to verify it.

        So just a few days ago they were saying it was the cheapest shipping, now it has tracking..
