I saw this still advertised at officeworks the other daySorry this is clearly an active promotion.
That was last years promotion tonester. This years promotion is now up and running, but highly doubt OW will give a 20% discount on iPads
I tried last time. They need to see proof that the iPad is on the school list and proof that you or your child goes to the school (Student ID).

officeworks near me do pretty much everything possible to wriggle out of their price beats, so I tend to reward the company which lowered it's price in the first place now instead. if it's an in store item they're not as bad if you catch them on the hop they just often put it through rather than finding reasons why it's not part of the offer.
Kids iPad BYOD (iPad, I ask you, we virtually wrote on slate with chalk!) is on the list for me and still nothing, so voted with my wallet and bought elsewhere.

i am guessing a lot of the school stock they have (going by a few years back) are brands only they have, so no chance of identical stock in another store - bit like Bunnings have Ryobi, cant get Ryobi anywhere else.

@Loki556: You can find some school lists posted publicly online. When I tried, 1 or 2 years ago, I found Haileybury's, Victoria. I wasn't able to price beat at OW as I had to prove I was buying for someone that attended the school. They wanted to see school ID.

Oh yeah, although it is just a 16GB model and I was after 64GB.
Hopefully I can give it a go. I have quite old iPad 3 which I rarely use, but if I get a good deal from OW for a new model and can sell the old one for few hundred then upgrade might not be that bad.
