Absolutely love this keyboard. I play WOW and use the macro key set on the left for all my movement and auto button pushing. Basically instead of slamming 1111111 all the time I just press my Macro button once for continuous pressing etc. Goes well when you macro up a chain of commands. Not sure how this will work with other games but works great for me and WOW.

      WOW great story.
this is an expensive dome membrane keyboard

Ahh yes.. brings back memory of the stun-lock macro… up until all the cloth wearers cried moar…

Honestly this is an awful keyboard. Unless you need a whole ton of macros (put them on your mouse instead maybe), get a different keyboard.

    • Serious? Been using mine for 12 Months+ Now, got it cheaper than this when a HN closed down but I have no issues with it at all.

I don't think there is a particular issue with it, I'm happy that yours is doing well, but it's just not a good keyboard. The keys are mushy, they don't have much response as a membrane keyboard, and for $20 I'm sure you can get one that types as well or performs as well in games, so long you don't need the macros.

For the price, it's just not worth it at all.

  • I have this keyboard and it locks up and resets during use occasionally. Not happy with it to be honest.

  • I've had this keyboard for 3+ years - takes a bit to get used to as you will accidentally hit the macro keys initially however it's been good enough to use to date without a need for replacement.

I also use 3rd party software for the screen to show stats on CPU/RAM/HDD/Time/DL/UL usages which have been quite useful !

    • I actually also have the G15 original and that works great as well. I take it with me when I'm working interstate and just leave it there with most of my luggage at the hotel.

I'm happy with the way my keys work as I usually only need to be able to used the macro keys for movement and auto spamming my macros. I also have a few Razor mice as well for the odd Blink etc but the KB is far superior for the ole autospam "1111222112222" etc.

For those who have not used the Logitech macro generator facility before, it is a VERY easy to use. You can adjust your repeat settings, IE. tell it to press 1, 1, 1, 1 every 0.005 seconds to something slower etc. even whole sentences can be generated.
