Sniff, sniff. I don't smell coffee, I smell SPAM. Where's the bargain?

    • +3

$50 for 2kg of coffee beans is a bargain. I'll vouch for the quality of Sweet Yarra Coffee's beans - I've ordered a number of times and never been disappointed.

        Have you tasted it?

        • +1

yes. I've bought most of my coffee from them the last year. I'd recommend it. I've tasted it daily.

          Another positive vote for SYC.
Personally I didn't like the Brazil RFA Cerrado Fazenda Recanto which was included as part of the last deal I bought, but the Indian Malabaar that also came in that deal is superb, I've had that a few times now and all the coffee I've bought in the 6 orders or so before the last was also excellent.

        • Yes - I thought that was pretty clear with the words, "I'll vouch for the quality… I've ordered a number of times and never been disappointed."

Would you do 1kg each of the two above for $50 (Honduras and Brazil) or do they have to be 2kg of one or the other?

          hello mobe

Why certainly! When you do order please specify on the order note or shoot us an email to remind us, brain is getting older now :)
          Thanks again

          Cool

This post has updated somewhat. Now it is another variety and price. I think before it was the same as the older one (the bourbon) but a cheaper price. I'm confusing myself. That new Esmeralda does sound nice though.

          @Mobe1969:
There was a bit of internal misunderstanding between me and my staff as she mistakenly put a wrong listing template (but the right price), that is why you were seeing the bourbon which was the previous ozb listing but with a better promo price.

We are clearing out our brazilian as the coffee is approaching the end of the season and we are preparing for exciting new arrivals!!
The esmeralda is indeed marvelous coffee for milk based.

          Thanks again MObe!!

          Nice. Getting anymore Cuban in?

        • @Mobe1969:

          Haha, no unfortunately.

        • @sweetyarracoffee:

Damn. Are they banned here now? Or just not worth the trouble with our fascist allies?

        • @Mobe1969:
Nah just dont wanna deal with paypal, being an American company, doesnt like us using their payment gateway to process cuban coffee

        • @sweetyarracoffee:
That is a frigging tragedy. Lovely coffee. Can't you just list it as something else when it is in the cart, like say"forbidden Caribbean"? Or use an Aussie gateway? I'd love some more of it but no one here sells it. XXXX the Yanks.

        • @Mobe1969:

We use third party e commerce platform its impossible to specify a product with a particular payment gateway, we have to use paypal for all or none at all. The only thing we can do is not to list the coffee but promote it by email in the form of news letter and customers can pay by direct bank deposit or we can invoice our customer with paypal without mentioning the word "cuban coffee" at all. This is not feasible for us as it would take ages to finish one sack of coffee this way

I ll try to see a way to get around this plus we only know a supplier who sells cuban coffee and thats not even available all year round
