Hi Guys,

Founder of VietCaPhe here!

I don't usually have sales or provide mass discounts as my product is priced quite reasonably (given recent global coffee price hikes), however I believe the OzBargain community is well deserving!

For those who haven’t tried Vietnamese coffee, this is a great chance to experience its bold, rich, and smooth flavours. We source specialty Vietnamese Robusta beans, delivering the bold, dark chocolatey, and nutty flavours that define authentic Vietnamese coffee. It's a taste instantly recognizable to those who’ve experienced it. Whether you’re a strong espresso lover or looking for a smooth, condensed milk-infused brew, we’ve got you covered.

This offer is designed to make Vietnamese coffee more accessible while giving back to a community that appreciates great value and quality. Hope you enjoy it!

Cheers,
Erik

  • Shipping costs kill this.

$10 shipping is a killer? Seems incredibly reasonable. You expect someone selling a product for $15 to absorb the cost of delivery on their end?

        $10 shipping is a killer?

Inglewood charged me $3 shipping the other day…

        selling a product for $15

        Showing $64/kg for me…

It's 250g you talking about here. $25 for a 250g bag is STEEP. Not to mention Robusta is considered lower quality type of beans comparing to Arabica.

  • Robusta, hm

Any bargains? Nothing mentioned in the title or description.

    $64/kg? Nah…

  • +2

I'll stick with Trung Nguyen coffee for $7 for 250g from the local Asian shop.

Damn, $64 for a kg of the kind of low quality coffee beans that can only taste good with lots of sugar and condense milk?!?! This price point makes more sense for the highest quality among Arabica beans.

BRO THEY FAKE COFEE ANYWAY, NOT 100% COFFEE. LOTS OF JUNKS IN THERE.

Seriously high markup. I like vietnamese robusta coffee. Grab it every time I travel to nam. But even the most expensive cafes roasting their own premium 100% arabica and/or blends charge max $300k donga's.
    About $18 p/kg.

  • dont think it’s so much robusta vs arabica and robusta being regarded as filler to get caffeine up, some people like the vietnamese style coffee with lots of sugar and condensed milk, and it seems to work best with robusta, it’s the cost per kg in general. crazy prices at the moment for coffee in general even at supermarkets on vittoria and lavazza and the like. luckily aldi still has affordable beans during the “cost of living crisis ” cole’s now has a home brand and aldi, i regard more than $25 kg crazy as i buy when on special, make my espresso at home, into thermos and take to work, cafe used to be $5 for regular cup and $6.50 for large at work, id hate to see how much it is now. we also seem to have a cost of chocolate crises, only wine and beer is still cheap. heck wine and beer is cheaper than coffee from a cafe if you shop at dans.

    • But Arabica is always priced higher than Robusta, thanks to lower yields, better taste or whatever. This markup is crazy, noting that in Vietnam Arabica usually commands 3 times the price of Robusta.
