When EBAY has 15% off everything I decided to buy 2 x sun lounges that were $370 each I'd had my eye on for ages. When I tried to check out it would not allow me to as you had to get a freight price. I had already been in communication with the seller who had told me I could pick up free. Through the check out process there was no pick up.
- when I tried to go through the freight option anyway it would say you must have 2 items to get a freight price.
- when I tried to select 2 items I couldn't as every product said 'last one' basically locking you out from purchasing.
- at this point the seller stopped responding so I messaged EBAY direct.
- eBay said contact seller by phone. They have 100% satisfaction.
- I called owner who pretty much led me to believe he would price match & buy direct from him, that EBAY WAS a shop front. He was supposed to get back to me with colours. Never did.
- I called today & he said no cant do 15% & that eBay would never sell his stuff 15% off.
Am I missing something?
Yes. You missed out on eBay's 15% off sale on everything.
