Funds will be divided equally among the rapid response efforts of the United Nations Foundation, the long-term,

    Positive.

But please oztigharses, if you download it, have some sense to donate.

  • This is exactly how all music should be released. But instead, buy the album and donate $x amount to the band.

I'd happily pay $5 for a digital album, but since they want $15-$30 for albums normally…

  • Thanks, at least one Artist i'm interested and going to good cause.

  • So how exactly do I know for sure this isnt some scam where only like 10% of my money is going towards teh cause….

    • Well you could research it

    • Or, alternatively, you could give to a local charity such as the Red Cross.

The comments and ratings here suggest they aren't as good as Oxfam or Doctors without Borders, for example.

        • This is a really good site.

          THank you.

This is what i was trying to get at. cheers

          • @drexxx: Remember Charity Navigator is an american site. Givewell.com.au might give a better impression. Although i would say most Australian affiliates (World Vision, Red Cross, Oxfam) would be handing over whatever they raise to the lead agency for Haiti (e.g. Oxfam UK or whoever).

            • @Sobai: oops not sure how to delete this…

        • hi, unless I read some of that page incorrectly, it seems they give a higher %age of their donations to the cause then do World Vision or Oxfam.
As mentioned below, these are US ratings.

          • @mick123: The percentages don't tell much of the story, as the Red Cross raises a whole lot more money than other charities. If you look at the cost of admin expenses/compare CEO salaries, they are much higher than the other charities. I think that's where the complaints come from.

I think US ratings reflect also on their counterparts in other countries.

  • Nice Spik3balloon! Donation made :)
    Great Music :) thumbs up

  • Hi,

Can we legally write it to a CD and listen to it in our car? I remember somewhere I read that it may be illegal to do so.
