The reviews online seem to lean more towards it being an average product that breaks after a short period and is difficult to have it repaired. Makes me hesitant to jump on this when the reviews are average and the price is high. But it does look like a good saving on that site. Always keen to hear others feedback on this cleaner though.
I have this and it scratches the hell out of the corners of the pool, im guessing due to the hard plastic covers on the small wheels on the back, very bad design!. Also leaves large areas of the floor uncleaned. Not worth the money.
May depend on the pool. I have a large concrete/pebblecrete pool and have had no issues.
I have the V3 and while it's not perfect it's a big improvement on the ones that run through your filter. Our pool is an odd shape and it doesn't cover it all but on the whole I would say it takes away most of the hard work cleaning the pool…I still skim it and brush it but it takes care of the floor of the pool and the sides to some degree also.
I have v3 too. 1 month out of warranty and dies. Web reviews show this to be very common. Quality (and longevity) should be much higher for the price we pay. Currently back with Zoda for 'assessment'. Will be trying a different brand next.
I have this and it is a great cleaner. Very easy to clean.
Works really well with leaves and gum nuts.
The dolphin brand cleaners would be better with picking up fine sand and dirt, but this is better at the leaves and nuts.
Also, the Dolphin is a bit more of a pain to clean.
Expensive, but i have found it does a great job, does not get stuck in corners and does not use your filter.
