Got dispatch last night. Phone had already left Taiwan en Route to HK. Now it's in the Air expected to be delivered Monday.
Did anyone purchase the blue color? QD just sent me an email saying Asus has collected all blue color from the market due to potential factory defector.
"I'm sorry to inform you that ASUS had collected all of our Blue stock back as they informed us there might be manufacturing defect for this color. We tried to source this phone from the market but it seems ASUS had paused all new stock releasing at the moment. We were informed ASUS will only release the new batch after fixing the manufacturing issue and may update us again next week. We sincerely apologise for the delay and wonder if you like to change the colour to WHITE?"

I did actually. However, haven't heard anything about asus recalling this model color.
Yes, it is getting very fishy. Changed to WHITE and after that no more communication from them. This shows that a good seller can turn into a bad one in a blink of an eye.

Some of us received the above message via eBay, I responded via eBay and agreed to change to WHITE. After that no more communication from them.
@damnable: I hadn't heard anything so I messaged them through eBay earlier today asking to confirm if there was an issue with the blue stock they had and asked if they had an update. I received a reply 3 hours later like the one above and advised that white was fine and also asked how long this would set back delivery. No reply as yet.
@girlshaped: Just received a reply: Since it already passed our courier pick up time, the White phone will be sent on Monday by express courier and should be delivered around Thursday.
Not bad for 6pm on a Friday.
I received a notification with tracking number. Tracking number shows "Shipment information received" , no pickup :-(

Mine's presently being shipped. Last night got a dispatch notice through them with DHL Express Tracking. Apparently should get it on Monday! (I bought white on the last day of the coupon code)

Yes, with a tracking number. However by the time I got the dispatch my phone was already leaving Hong Kong

I was told that the phone would be dispatched over the weekend and tracking number to be provided on Monday. Got nothing since.
Emailed QD yesterday and got dispatch notice from eBay today with Tracking number from DHL. Currently at Taipei airport and eta delivery is Friday.
I got my white one this morning from DHL (it was posted Friday afternoon, I think).
I got in early so I was hopeful that I managed to get a Blue one despite other posts here. I only just received a notification now asking if I wanted to switch…. wow that is just so ridiculous.
Got mine today. Beautiful white for my wife. Power adapter plus needs AU conversion which is supplied in the box.

I just got a eBay message from qd_au saying that they will get the shipment of blue phones from ASUS Friday and will ship the phone to me the same day.
They already gave me the tracking number for the DHL booking. They also said they would include a 16gb micro SD for the long wait.
If you haven't messaged qd_au or haven't got a reply back from them I suggest sending them a message now.
I got my white one after changing the order, however there are issues with my phone's touch screen… possibly hardware issue - where when I have a finger on the screen, the screen jitters slightly. Yes, I got my blue one and it looks beautiful. I do not have any touch screen issues with mine, but I installed a custom rom as soon as I got it so I'm not sure if it is a software issue or not. Try factory reset the phone first.
Nice! I was so tempted to root it but the touch screen issues held me back. Thank god I didn't do it yet as my warranty would be void. It was actually worse after the factory reset haha. So I sent my faulty phone back to their NSW address that qd_au provided and asked for the blue one in return. Still waiting for them to post it back. Enjoy your phone :P
After not having blue i asked for the non deluxe version with the same specs, it's exactly the full stop.
No issues and its a great phone, best i have had since moving on ftom my xperia Z.
