I just got a text message to say that the Wantirna Blockbuster is Closing Down, it read.
"Blockbuster Wantirna CLOSING DOWN SALE Now ON! ALL MOVIES must sell. Till Stock runs out. Cheap Prices. Ex-Rental DVDs from $2."
Hopefully their prices are better than their use of capitals.
Could not find mention of this anywhere online, no longer live near Wantirna either so can't comment on whats available.

Like I said I haven't been there, thought it was still worthwhile passing on if someone was in the area today.
Blockbuster are killing themselves quickly. They make the price too high and the lock in period too long for their franchises so all the franchisees are bailing rather than lock in for another decade.
Considering back in 2000 Netflix approached Blockbuster to partner up for 50m. Netflix were still in the business of delivering physical DVD's to customers and Blockbuster scoffed at the idea. Blockbuster must have some pretty sore feet.
Ah reminds me of Kodak.

If it's like the sale at the Sunbury Blockbuster then most stuff is way overpriced. More expensive than buying it at JB HiFi.
