Hey Guys,

First post. I hope it is worthy.

EB games is offering the new Halo 5 limited console for $599 with free Fall out 4.

Easily the best deal for this sweet console. Fall out 4 is AAA title and will cost $80-100 at launch Nov 10.

I picked one up myself and this console bundle has been done right. The controller and console is actually textured and isnt just a painted/printed graphic. Really awesome to have in the hands. They will also price match Big W's price on the Master Chief limited controller (https://www.bigw.com.au/bigw-catalogues#view=catalogue&saleI…)

    No worries dude.

    Funny thing is my brother and I both had preorders at JB hifi. But when they wouldnt match Big W or Targets discounted price or EB games free Fallout offer. I refunded my preorder money and walked to EB games.

    Funny how they gave up a sale of 2 consoles, 2 extra controllers, media remote, etc. If that were my business no way Id let that happen.

      I suggest adding an xbox battery pack. Next to no weight and ~30 hours of battery life with a 3 metre charge cable in the box.

        I actually ordered a bunch of Eneloop rechargable AA's.

        Play and charge kits are great while they work. But all my 360 ones failed, and my friends xONE ones failed too. To be fair, I used them ALOT. So I got my moneys worth.

        I also dont trust the mini USB ports. All the phones I have had the port is the first to die.

        Fair enough, I am just to much of a Fanboy of 21st century tech and couldn't go back to using AA batteries.

  originally this was $599 without the Fallout 4 game, but target came out out with the console bundle for $558 so i think they threw in the fallout 4 instead of price matching. Its a good deal if you just want the normal fallout 4 game. LOL i did the opposite i canceled my pre order from EB and went across to Target and got just the console bundle without Fall out 4 but only because i have pre ordered the Limited edition fallout 4

    Thats a fair point if you already had a limited fall out on pre order. I was going to go to Target for the $558. But Figured even if I sold the game when I got it Id get more than the $41 price difference.

    I did see you could get a small discount for trading in a 360 however. It was a promo poster so its not on their website.

    I'd assume it would be close to $300, as long as you are a level 3 or level 4 EB World member.

    They have a trade-in promo for Limited Edition consoles at the moment. Call for more info.

    You get $200 for the console (if your a level 3 member you get another 15% trade credit), and another $50 as a bonus offer for the month.
    So $280 if level 3

    They have a deal at the moment where trading a 500gb Xbox One towards the Halo bundle or the Elite bundle gives you $300 trade value. Just did it yesterday!

    You'll see printed signs around the Xbox section or counter saying "Get the [whichever bundle] for $299 when you trade a 500gb Xbox One".

    No EB World extra value though with the deal; it's a set deal.

    True. But not what I said. I said You can price match the limited 'controller'. Figured some people might be into getting the matching controller and could save a trip to big w for the lowest price.

    I wish I knew too. Didnt ask I was too excited. My receipt doesnt give me a clue either.

    However I didnt receive a code on purchase so it may be a physical version. They did say 'you can pick it up on the 10th of nov'. So looks like a physical standard copy.

    They literally just 'preorder' the game like any other, but with it marked as being paid off.
