  • Nice Find - though the Bluetooth foldie earphones (last entry) are on catch of the day at the moment for $29.95 plus postage and are currently in stock https://www.catchoftheday.com.au/event/the-best-of-tech-4938…

I believe the ones on COTD are not bluetooth, hence the cheaper price.

SHL4500GY is the greatest thing made by Philips, bought it in Nov 2013 and still looking to buy another one - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/122416

Not sure how much you'd want to spend to buy a spare one but you can buy those on Ebay from the UK for $22,21.

      • Nah, it should be under 20AUD to buy. :)

There was a deal earlier this year, but I missed out.

Fair enough, I'm guessing you bought it for $14,- and don't think it's worth the extra $8.21 ;). Thought I'd let you know in case you bought it for the $20,- and as you think it's the greatest thing made by Philips. Who knows, perhaps it'll pop up for $14,- if you wait some more.

        • @b-hunterr: well I gave up and ordered it tonight, Philips DJ headphone at work is squishing my head. Thanks for the heads up. :)

  • For some reason phillips quality on cheaper headphones are better than their more expensive ones…. Philips SHE3500BL is really great sound quality at that price

However durability is not as good, they last on avg 6 to 8 months but awesome for $5 a pop
