  How much more economical are these than buying the 69c sparking water from coles/aldi etc?

    If you use the Sodastream gas cylinder then its pretty close. If you hack it for a 2.6kg or 6kg CO2 bottle from a home brew shop it is cheaper (but costs initially to set up)

        Well… if you drink a LOT of sparkling water then it would be, if you don't mind the upfront costs.

        You can even have a bath in sparkling water. :)

        fwiw… i use a converted fire extinguisher to refill my soda stream co2 canisters myself. costs a few cents per SS canister and much cheaper than using "hacked" homebrew setups :)

        (i actually use my SS bottles for dispensing home brew beer from kegs)
