Cheap chamber pot?

Dear All,

My office only has one toilet on its floor and there are about 25+ males on the floor. Do you know where I can buy cheap chamber pot, just in case if someone occupies the toilet or if someone left the toilet smelly? I will go to meeting rooms to take a pee on the chamber pot.

ahhh yes… reading it invokes memories of the time when I had to visit the nursing home to see my granma.

Welcome to the world of women. Queueing for the loos is a standard part of any trip outside the house. To use a well worn analogy - it seems we can go to the moon but we can't provide enough toilets for women in any known situation.

    • I propose we build more aircraft lavatories. Antisexist, non-gender segregated toilets that anyone can use.

Contact Boeing, we got some plumbing modifications to make to the office!

    • Just gotta learn how to piss against a wall :)

      • I have no issue with unisex toilets as long as guys learn to clean up after themselves. My other half hates using public toilets 'cause they are usually putrid.

Empty apple juice bottle. Keep it in the fridge after to deter those office mates who swipe lunches/drinks.

There is nothing wrong with this question. There is nothing wrong with this question. There is nothing wrong with this question. There is nothing wrong with this question.
If I keep saying it enough surely I will believe it.

  • The Trailer Park Boys have you covered.

  • 2 or 4L ice cream container——— preferably used

  • contact http://www.worksafe.vic.gov.au/ and see if it's legal to have just a single toilet for 25 people.

or you can buy adult nappies.

    c'mon , what a silly question - chamber pot???

There is no silly question, but silly interpretation.

        no, sorry it's silly.
In no work place should you ever need to pee in a bucket in another room and not use the toilet, or for anyone think that is an OK and hygienic thing to do in a workplace.
As I said , contact the govt workplace ohs or your union and see if more toilets should be for the amount of employees.
In an emergency use the other sexes toilet, not a bucket/chamber pot/whatever. or go to the toilet on another floor (you mention one toilet for your floor so I assume toilets are on other floor).
Ask you boss for an option (they may say use the other floor)

No, you are not sorry. It is your interpretation that is silly, it is a genuine question. There is no written rule that we should not pee in a bucket at workplace. If it is a rule, there should be something in writing. If there is nothing in writing, how do you expect people to know? I have seen construction workers peeing on the wall, do you deem it is not their workplace too?

I did mention there is another floor in the building, but they have the same amount of people too. People in my office cannot be bothered to contact OHS, and that building has been there since 1978. It will be easier if I pee in a bucket in a room; my building does not even have a lift, and I have problem with my knees.

          @timbrot:
Go pee in a bucket then. Do it, if you don't value your job, your reputation and workplace health and safety.

@niggard: His office did not value their employees' health and safety, why should he value the office?
