uFlix is a service that allows you to access content that is normally unavailable with your Netflix account. Your Netflix account normally recognises your location automatically and displays content suited for that location. As an example, if you are in Australia, Netflix may not offer “Movie X” on their streaming service, but Netflix users in the UK can view “Movie X” with their streaming service.

  a lot of us already have getflix for this from their "lifetime" (30 year) license for ~$50 AUD

    many others of us got a yearly uFlix subscription for $12 or $15. I am pretty sure $2 per month is the normal price.

  This is the normal price. I have both Getflix & uFlix and find uFlix easier (though with the new iOS app GetFlix now is easy too). The $50 GetFlix is a great deal however it's only a matter of time before they rebrand and/or discontinue/ change the service to get out of the lifetime thing.
