What Kind of Community Are We?

Like the title says, I'm quite amused (not in a bad way) at the type of deals that get posted up here. From the deals,
I can see among us are:
Wine lovers, gamers, parents, audiophiles, grocery shoppers, so on and so forth.
But most of all, we're all united under the banner that
WE WANT TO SAVE MONEY!!!
However,
Sometimes, I also see people who take advantage of these deals, though rare and few. There are also people (in my personal opinion) who are quite rude and disrespectful to others. (Maybe it's the online atmosphere). We also have our fair dose of trolls lurking around(Not that I think it's bad).
I think ozbargain is a fantastic community, and that I'm quite glad to have saved money, and also get some freebies along the way.
So what type of community do you think we are?

We're the Bargain Master Race, the wheat that has seperated from the chaff
The non-ozbargainers kneel in our mighty presence and admire our fat wallets and glittering eneloop collection

We scour the web on our ultra-fast SSD equipped PC's and fill our stomachs with cheap Dominos pizzas
eternally seeking the Holy Grail — (that is Freebies!)

We stand united under the banner of Ozbargain and seek to rebel against the evil (retail) capitalist empire.

    That is our Ozbargain Manifesto.

Well apparently one third of us are males aged 25-34. But this stat is two years old now. Would be interesting to see some current demographic stats.

Seems that we are a bigger community than Whirlpool by number of visitors to the site. http://www.alexa.com/topsites/countries;2/AU

I'm sitting by the pool in Bali ($260rt, thanks OzB) using the free wifi thinking I probably have spent more than I would have going camping for a week but I have received tremendously better value.
I reckon that is the key. Everybody gets more value from this place than they can get on their own, which makes people generally pretty pleased with one and other.
Contrast with a place talking about politics or sport or most other things and there always seem to be plenty of participants fired up with contrary views. But who is going to come here and bother posting that discounts aren't worth it or that they prefer to pay full price?

    • Ozbargain style, go to the seven eleven, buy your beers and bring them to the hotel.

The people that abuse deals amuse me in a cynical way

I love that we can come and look for a good deal on something we need and ask for help from others.
