They sold the same (non temp control) kettle (rebranded) at Kmart and aldi for $39 and $34 respectively.

I've been using the Kmart one for over 2 years now and it's pretty good.

    • thanks for the feedback
      thinking to buy one

  • not really a good groupon deal - it needs to be cheaper to compete with ebay it seems.
not saying it looks bad, just that it isn't much cheaper (if at all) than other deals going around.

  • Ebay has the same price and a bit less delivery charge. I checked when I got the email.

    • post the link or screen shot pls
i am thinking to buy one too

      • Sorry did not realise it is a different brand now. it was TODO brand.

I found the temperature model on ebay for 69.95 incl shipping
Groupon comes to 68.95 so save $1 ;)
        The power of groupon!

        • Use cashrewards in addition! ;)

        • $1 discount by buying through Groupon, plus 7.5% cashback via Cashrewards. The eBay deal will only attract 2.5% cashback.

          Massive savings :-)

      • here is the cheaper one $34.95 delivered. The one from groupon would cost you $37.95 delivered and your bank may charge you additional $1 as Groupon debits from Switzerland

When buying stuffs from groupon and they charge you the transaction fees, lodge a complain and they will give you a $5 credit for your next purchase. I do that everytime and it works. So $1 cash for a $5 groupon credit is not bad. And when you make another $5 groupon credit when you make the next purchase and so on and so on.. it's like printing $$$! Don't say I tell you this!!!!

        • @wipeout26: in my case it was my bank who charged me $1 as it was "overseas transaction". But I'll try it next time I buy from them. Thanks for the heads up.

I really don't see the point of a transparent kettle, except for making it quite visible when it gets dirty, now a deal on a transparent toaster sounds good to me!

    kettle looks so cool

    Must be faulty ?

  • got two from groupon like 8 months back. Still working,Looks awesome when lights are turn off. Dont really use it that much maybe 6 times a week. Nothing really faulty so far

  • Is this a deal or a question?

  • I seen this kettle and it does look way cool when heating water.

  • wait for Groupon's weekly (or at least very regular) 10-15% off code if you want to get this.

  • Anyone know how loud this kettle is? Looking for a quiet boil.

  • Glass does looks good, doubt it'll stay clean (admittedly I've never used one for extended period of time). All my other kitchen stuff gets scummy but I'm a dirty little man.

But I would certainly never bother with a temp controlled kettle (your water drops ~10-15° as soon as it's in your cup, depending on vessel). If you really want to brew your green tea at ~75° I'd recommend a thermometer and practice.

    • To clean that black scale on the inside fill the jug with water, add 2 spoons of citric acid boil twice. rinse .. new water, boil, rinse, new water, boil, rinse done.

  • I bought this kettle without temperature control a few months ago from groupon. Been using it at least twice a day and it works well.i chose the white coloured one so the blue light looks more prominent.pretty quiet too

  • Anyone else see the man's face?
