HP vs Canon
Which one is better?
canon is shorter in height by ~1cm
hp has faster print speed
hp has better scan res
canon has bigger input paper tray
hp can print on cards and photo paper
canon has better print qualitydepends really on what you want for a cheap AIO.
the canon's smaller but only by 1cm. the hp is significantly faster so for me, it's the HP.
I prefer HP, personally (generally because they usually offer the cable where Canon doesn't- not sure this one).
Use the aforementioned draft/economy print mode & access generic & these things are cheap for everyday.

Regardless the inkjet you use, always go into print properties and change the quality to fast/draft/or economy for the unimportant/temporary stuff (which = most).
At this price I just buy them to use til the cartridges are gone and chuck it :) Thanks capitalism, I like you!
I got the HP 2620 at Harvey Norman in September for $17. Full standard cartridges. I'll start using it when current cartridges run dry in the HP 2050 I got at Harvey Norman in 2012 for $18.
