  • Have been watching this http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Oxford-X30-Strap-On-Tank-Bag-Moto…?
and the 30L version of the one you have listed for the past couple of weeks.

    Good deal on both.

    • As far as I read, the 30L one is a pain to mount as a pannier.

      • Purchased the 60L one as a tail bag. See how it fits and if ita good ill buy a couple more to make a set. Alose purchaed the tank bag so might only buy one sid pannier depending on how the first goes.

Yep,the GS500F was my first bike. I still miss it.

      • Mine too lol! It was a great work horse, now it sits under a cover in the garage :(

        • +1

Sell it! I got more than what I paid, even after more than 2 years of ownership.

One thing I've noticed about Ozbargin, the deals are bias towards technology and gadgets.
Thank you OP for posting a motorbike related deal.
The item is also free shipping for this price.

    Happy riding :)

    • Amen to that!

To bad I am trying to sell my beloved CB900F Hornet (complete with Ventura system + bag) aka the Red Rocket as my new crib has no offstreet parking :( :( :(

      • +1

I had that problem, so I just built a ramp out of some pretty chunky wood and parked it in my living room through the front door.

        • Alas Lady Casm does not tolerate the bike any more than she has too.

        • @Sir Casm: I will pass on her sympathies to Lady Skills.

    • No worries :)

  • Has anyone here used these as Panniers? looks like a very good price.

    • Note the picture shows RT30 model (30L) as panniers, not this RT60.

I'd imagine just too big as panniers.

    • Read this post here: http://www.motorcyclenews.com/product-reviews/parts-accessor…

What’s not: Fitting the thing is quite frankly a pain. One of the two main Velcro straps isn’t long enough to fit under the seat of my Bandit 650, so it needs the additional webbing straps to lash it down securely.

As it’s a performance to fit, especially when fully loaded, I’ve taken to leaving it on the bike when I arrive at a destination and just emptying the contents.

If you leave any of the outer zips even fractionally open the bag is no longer waterproof and the internals quickly become sodden.

This is the only good review I found on this panniers. I'm inclined to buy them to make a set :)

Plus +2 for more MC Deals.

  • Thanks zapy.

  • Where were you?

$59 is their standard ebay price.

    • Well spotted……

      • ……by tightarse

        • Damn :( paying more.. Feeling guilty

  • So how does it mount on the bike? is it easy? or do you have buy external mounts?

    • The RT60 has a velcro strap for under the pillon seat. It also 4 D-Ring loop straps (like most helmet straps) to tie off to the subframe.

This might give you some idea.

      • Thank you for clearing that up.

  • Other sizes available, though RRP discount not as high as this deal

  • Would this mount straight on a 2010 Ninja 250? Or would I need to buy special brackets/mounts?

    • Should mount.

I suggest pay a visit to the store. Just call beforehand and make sure they have it in store.

      • Cheers mate. I took a punt. Worse case scenario of it doesn't, I'll just chuck it on gumtree or something.

Now I'm pondering the thought of replacing the loyal milk crate on the postie bike.
