I've never tried these pods but was about to when this deal came up. They are priced at around the same as Nespresso (some slightly below or slightly above depending on the style). They offer some Fair Trade and Organic varieties. Their main advertising hook is that the pods are 100% biodegradable, 100% compostable and made from plant material (so not simply plastic with an additive that makes them disintegrate over time). They also advertise that the company was set up by the former Nespresso CEO and has the quality to compete.
Given the price, if you're looking for the cheapest option then the compatibles from Coles etc. are the way to go and clearly this deal isn't for everyone. However, given the sheer amount of waste from the coffee pod systems, I'm willing to pay more for environmentally friendly pods that are Fair Trade certified and (hopefully) contain coffee to the same level of quality.

Be very cautious. A colleague has just reported that the $10 free gift is a false inducement which would be a breach of the ACL. Based on that and poor user reviews of the actual coffee, I'd be cautious about the bona fides of any so called "offers" made by this company.
