    I can't even click the game in my Steam store browser. It just redirects me back to the home page.

  • Nice find.

  • Ok, for those having problems with the Steam Browser, in the top left hand corner where the search field is;
    Just type 'Titan' and hit enter. Then click on the Titan Quest Gold link. From there add to cart.
    3.74 USD!!!

  • Great game at a very good price. High replay value.
    Stores around Sydney still sell this title at around $20+

    • but its hard to compare physical to direct2drive…

      i prefer physical copies myself just for old time sakes of actually owning something

      have this already so won't buy but i have to say that its not that great compared to the likes of Diablo2

      okay to pass a few hours…or months if you are so inclined

      • I used to prefer owning hard copies of games for the sake of feeling like I own it, but for PC games I don't really care anymore because once you install it, you're just going to be putting the box and stuff away anyway. It's different for console games where you actually need the cases.

        Besides, Steam prices are way cheaper than if you were to buy it retail. I've got about 30 games on my steam account and most of them were bought for crazy low prices of less than $10 when the games were on special. So not only am I saving a lot of money buying them from Steam, but I don't have 30 game boxes lying around. Steam makes things so easy. You don't have to have any discs in and you can reinstall all your games in 1 go instead of having to go through 30 discs 1 at a time, not to mention all the patches you'd have to install.

        Oh and IMO TQ is better than Diablo II. I've clocked about 125 hours of it so far..

    It's a couple of years old, but not too old, still very playable and enjoyable. One advantage of being a couple of years old is that it should work well on more machines. I found it a polished game in the style of Diablo 2. Good coop support.

    Although some people do prefer to have the CD, for me Steam is now my preference. Don't have to worry about CD scratches or loss, don't need to have the CD in the drive, moves seemlessly from machine to machine etc, and on whole cheaper (if you buy in the sales). But remember it can hit with your ISP download quota. Check whether you ISP has unmetered Steam content servers. If so then grab Freys Steam Filter or similar and then you don't have to worry about that even. It's all personal preference though, just be aware what the pros and cons are.

  • It is 4.99 for me through the steam browser.

    Edit: Typed in ?cc=au and it changed to 3.74

    Great game!

  • Awesome deal. I bought this when it was $7.50 but for $3.74 you gotta be crazy to pass this deal up if you like Diablo/Diabloe II . IMO it's the best point and click RPG to date.
