Milwaukee C12HJ-0XL 12V Li-Ion Cordless Original Red Heated Jacket - Skin Only $139 @ Sydney Tools

50

Heated jacket was $199, now $139.
I laughed as I'm a Queenslander, that such a product exists. But hey I also ride a motorbike and the wind chill is bloody cold in winter when its sub zero on a early morning ride, these would be handy.

Plug in your Milwaukee battery and be toasty in winter :)

  • I saw an AEG one yesterday at bunnings notting hill for $70 in the clearance trolley. Good day for one here.

Stupid pointless product, exploiting gullible tradies. The human body generates 200W idle. All you need is suitable insulation.

Get a proper winter motorcycle jacket! It might also save some skin when (not if) you come off.

    • Perhaps in Australia where the winters don't get so cold. Try working on a construction site in places with proper winter (Europe, USA, etc). I could have done with one of these jackets over the last winter when we renovated my home and had no heating, doors, windows, to keep out the sub-zero temperatures. Sure, work hard you warm up. if you're not working hard then nothing wrong with still being toasty warm without the bulk of a full winter jacket.

I bought a Milwaukee heated hoodie for work a few months back (I'm in VIC!). Best money I've ever spent haha!

      oops sorry accidental neg :(

  • Original link is for size XL. Here's the link for size medium, https://sydneytools.com.au/milwaukee-c12hj-0m-12v-li-ion-cor…

Other sizes seem to be sold out.

    • I'll add they need to be a fairly snug fit for them to work.

  • The battery life is terrible for a full work day. I was given one for weekends while I was working pit crew at Phillip island and it would last half a day before it needed a recharge. half a day freezing my ass off with that thin ass jacket.
