What do you mean?? Do you think they put a micros sd card in there or something?
is it faster with this in a USB port or would you be better with a microSD in a SD adaptor and that plugged into the PC.
I am thinking to have it always plugged into a Mac Air and another in a Toshiba Tecra.
Speed depends on a few factors really… power wise though you should find the microsd with adapter would probably use marginally less…
These reportedly heat up a bit (though usually only when in use I think).
I am not sure if your Mac Air has a USB 3.0 port or not (I dont use Apple products).I don't think Sd card readers on laptop/pc is even as fast as USB3.0. You better off sticking to using USB 3.0 flash drive in a USB 3.0 port if you have one on your laptop/pc.

I would not recommend using these for video playback or constant use. Purchased a few from the Harvey Norman deal and they fried half-way through watching a 600mb .mkv video on my TV. Completely useless now.
Have a couple 64GB and are going great. Only used for video and been keeping an eye on them for heat. I wonder if size makes the difference. (I here its how it's used)
I believe it is because there is no way for heat to spread apart from tiny knob bit. Unlike a bigger one heat can spread better.

Hahaha no shit, these days breasts are everywhere. We get to see breasts in our emails and on the interent.
I remember in the 90s we had to sneak into newsagency and puts hustler magazine into the gaming monthly magazine to look at breasts ;). Pretending we're reading gaming megazines.
As mentioned by others, this gets crazy hot when you leave it plugged in, to the point where it actually becomes quite slow. I find leaving it in a USB2.0 slot seems to help with this, it feels like it actually runs faster because it's not overheating.
