According to ITM they are fake?

    http://www.inthemix.com.au/news/aust/45749/Online_ticket_sca…

It seems unlikely that 1sale would knowingly sell fake tickets tho, they have way more to lose than they would gain.

    From the Soundwave Festival Twitter:

"Soundwavers, it's come to our attention that there are several fraud sites (example http://1saleaday.com.au/) out there offering cheaper tickets to Soundwave. BUYER BEWARE! The only place you can buy official and legitimate tickets for our festival are through the Soundwave Oztix site or Ticketek. DO NOT, we repeat under any circumstances DO NOT buy tickets off websites that claim to have Soundwave tickets."

  • oh gg

    • Bought 2 tickets for Soundwave, Brisbane and just received a full refund. No explanation from 1sale!

      • Same here. How do I change my vote to a neg?

  • These tickets were real tickets but due to certain circumstances we decided to refund all customers.
    Wishing you all the best

You have not answered my question.

Why have you refunded tickets without any explanation?

Also, why are you continuing to sell them?

  • I sent the email not sure wat u can help me with since u dont have the tickets!!!!!!! So i think this scaming website should be shut down!!! The office of Fair tradingill be hearing from me in the morning!!!!

  • Yeah, thats the biggest BULL… as if 1saleaday.com.au would sell fake tickets?… They didn't b4 at field day, my mates tickets worked fine!… If I was 1saleaday.com.au I would go speak to inthemix coz their credability is going down the drain.

I bought 8 tickets as well and I'm guttered for myself and all my mates! At least give us a reason why?…

    • mate i bought a pair of those field day tickets. they were sweet.

but these ones are stupidly stupiddddddddddddddddddd

  • Pretty sure the event promoters are just not allowing them to onsale these tickets, there is a disclaimer about this in the T&C. The statement they released is very carefully worded, it does not mention that the tickets are fake, only that authorised sellers are allowed to sell tickets. Bad form on ITM's part for labelling this as a scam.

  • I got my money back but still nothing can be done about flights n stuff, well n truly out of pocket :(

  • lol everyone got refunded

  • There is obviously a LOT more to this than we will probably ever find out.

Needless to say, they were obviously legit, but some muscle was flexed in regards to the T&Cs (not an authorised reseller) and therefore under threat of legal action, 1saleaday pulled them from sale and had to refund. It's gonna cost 1saleaday a lot of money depending on how many they had.

But of course peshmo may like to confirm or deny :)
