$170 for a blended scotch? tell 'em they're dreamin' son.

Maybe it's rare you'll find anyone who thinks it's worth the $'s?
You can buy so so many, much better single malts for half that price.

He's referring to the bottle size. Normally comes in 700ml

      • " with 750ml rarely seen out of Duty Free."
        Yeah maybe?

It's just the bottle size that's rare, not the stuff that's in it.

    • it clearly says "750ml rarely seen out of Duty Free"
its like you decided to stop reading after the word 'seen'

      • Op edited the post, it looks like you never bothered to look at any of the revisions….. Maybe you should do so before commenting?

From my experience 750ml bottle tastes better than the 700ml bottles we get from the bottle shops here. i guess its different manufacturing plant or different quality. Also i prefer to get liquor and perfumes from duty free, so if its same as duty free one then its good. The price is also not bad considering others sells it for more. Agree its blended but it will beat many single malts. smell it and taste it you will now the difference.

  • I'm holding out for the 2L @ $199 that comes around occasionally

    • You mean 1L

      • Ah yes…. I guess I would be okay with 2L though :)

  • the only good thing for this is the nose - very nice indeed! not the taste, I'd prefer the green label if it has to be a blend.
I really dont know why there're many cult followers on this blue one.
