  • ohhh… wonder if they'll do a 6th!

Great price. Will be buying this.

And yes, 5 will heading for the bin.

    • DH5 was terrible. I hope they stop ruining the franchise and let it be.

      • 4 was worse than 5. They should've stopped at Harder.

        • 5 was so much worse than 4….makes 4 look good.

        • @DarKBlooD: 4 was a modern interpretation on DH but enjoyable and entertaining. 5 featured wooden acting, bad story, and pointless side characters.

    • There was a deal on a boxset that only included 1-4 a while back, I bought that, now I'm so happy I did :)

  • Whoa, these are very bad for you.

  • How much for just the first 3? Rest are rubbish

    • 2 is pretty bad and 3 was meant to be a Lethal Weapon movie. They're all watchable but 1 is the only classic.

  • besides the price is there any difference with these versions?

i.e. bonus features, remastered to even better quality, sound etc?

  • Still waiting for the day for John McLane to die hard

    • Let's keep it GG for the kids

  • Brilliant. That is the version with the uncut DH4 too

    • What's so uncut about it?

      • For starters, he says the trademark Yippee Ki Yay… line without the studio cutting off the last word…

        • +1

How do you cut that line out of any version of this film series :O

        • @yacman:

I know. It is sacrilege. I can't believe that for so long you couldn't even get the uncut one on blu ray. The JB one was a first. The new US Nakatomi edition will have it though. But that JB one was sought after overseas. And that price, brilliant.

        • @Mobe1969: I don't suppose you know the approximate time this occurs in the film, thinking I need to check if my "electronic copy" is the uncut one or not, sounds like it might be rare :/

          @yacman:

I can go one better. This lists all the differences and when.

        • @Mobe1969: thanks!

  • Good price!

Fortunately for myself I got the Quadrilogy a few years back. And the next one I've heard they are making is sort of a prequel. So I can get that separately and pretend that that Russian abomination never happened.

I swear the StoneCutters are behind Jai Courtney being a star.

Die Hard 6 is probably going to bomb with a different actor playing John McClane for half the film

    • +4

Who keeps Jai Courntney in the flicks
Who keeps the Kardashians turning tricks
      We do, We do.

  • err not familiar with this so just want to that region lock means i cant play this on any blu ray player?

    • Region coded to Aussie bluray players :) and UK is same region (for bluray)

  • … umm… for sale. Blu ray of die hard 2, 4 and 5. Cost, your soul. :-)

On a good day I can maybe get some crazy enjoyment out of 2. But 4 and 5. Ewww.

  • +1

    I have a greater appreciation for number 4, when I watched 5.
Worst thing was I paid to see it:(
