Nice bundle, but considering it was for a PS3, would've been even better had they included a Blu-ray version of the movie.

true…bluray would be better and more appropriate since its for the ps3!

  • Nice man!!
Cheers, never actually played this game but the movies were orgasmic.
    Thanks again.

+1, except I found the third one to be a complete and utter anti-climax.

    • Movies were orgasmic WTF , obviously very passionate person :)

it's actually a really good game, I thoroughly enjoyed it, it's a little different than most shooters as it has a good (though difficult) hand to hand combat system, somewhat similar to Batman AA in that you only use a couple of buttons to perform the moves but timing is crucial.

Get it for $13, its great.

  • I went through all 90 pages, very good deals. If anyone is looking for a specific game I would buy now, most likely it has a good price.

  • Ii this for all EB stores Australia wide? Is this on Jbs exclution list cause I see bourne conspiracy standard edition on the JB site so can you use this as trade bait?

    • Typically you can use the collectors edition, but depends on the store, mostly you can though. (Source: personal experience)

  • I picked up the last copy at EB Eastgardens.

Check out the site, there's a few other bargain items (a few under $20 ps3/xbox360 games) - though most of them are overpriced still =\

    • I checked through the site as well, I noticed a lot of the games that are listed as 'massive clearance' now, were actually listed cheaper last week.
Now maybe it's just me, but if you were trying to clear stock, wouldn't it be better to drop prices?

Great price on Bourne though, and yes this one is technically trade bait and you could argue the point that only the std. is on the list if they try an say no.

  • This is seriously the one of the worst games I have played this generation…

    Totally not worth $13…

It has QTE's… and most frustratingly if you die… you 'respawn' before a full unskippable cutscene virtually everytime (boss fight etc) such a friggin waste of time.

It's like a how-not-to in game design from start to finish… very poor game. Definitely one of the worst. Only get's slightly ok once you get to the airport level.

  • BS ^

Metacritic average rating of 70 http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/ps3/robertludlumst…

definitely better than you say it is, like I said it is difficult, some people can't keep up

Definitely worth $13 for the game alone, then you get the movie as well.

    • Well, I concede it is ok, but for a supposed AAA title with a long development history this game is certainly the least impressive I have played.

It's not hard either, only in the hardest difficulty is it somewhat difficult because the qte's need you to rely on muscle memory as the buttons are coloured ONLY (not labeled) and if you play multiple consoles like I do that is a royal pain in the arse.

The mechanics are a complete throwback to 2004 game design.

Typical level consists of: Spawn in area full of crates with Pistol. Bother to sneak around if you can… aim really badly at some bad guy and shoot him about 5 times before he ducks behind cover…
Decide to screw it because you cbf waiting for him to come out of cover and then just run up to every bad guy and qte death them instantly for the only cool thing about this game.. (the others will 90% of the time neatly wait for you to finish before attacking a la Assassins Creed, and when qte fighting you are almost invincible if you are clever enough to use the bad guy you are fighting to block other guys shooting you)
If you're lucky there may be an 'interactive' level item to smash their head in with. and blammo.
Repeat, inserting random parts where you must completely linearly open a gate/flick swith and… well that's it, by holding down a button or use a crate of unlimited ammo to restock your supplies (!!!), while the most obvious spawning of enemies since Quake takes place in the background, maybe if you're lucky a helicopter may be 'sweeping' the level with 100% predetermined paths in a wanton display of the laziest ai programming ever. Oh and you'll get some boss fight at the end with a dude who is pretty much 99% like all the other enemies except looks a bit different and has quadruple the health. Did I mention the secrets are the easiest to find in any game I think I have ever played?

The graphics look like they are about at xbox levels in-game - very bland. Halo 2 has waaaaaaay better technology.

That said… for $13 you'll probably still get some fun out of it… and the movie is good.

I don't know why I'm writing such a rant about an obviously subpar game but I think I was/am just angry that this game had soooo much potential and turned out like total rubbish.

  • EB also have the 360 collectors edition of this game for $20 pre-owned…
And most copies I've seen have been practically brand new…

  • So when did this sale start. Might go check it out

    • It started at the beginning of the week in most stores…

  • who took the last copy at point cook ebgames? XD shakes fist heh

  • There are quiet a few games going for $13 but most or should I say all of them are on JB's exclusion list. How gay I didnt buy any
