as an owner of one of these units I can testify that… I never play it. The device itself is pretty good, it's just that I saw it cheap and couldn't resist

    • haha i was thinking this might happen, if i bought one..

  • Why?

  • I've reviewed it on my site. It's a great unit that I use for my tests. The only thing that's odd is that L2 and R2 are located under the controller rather than in the shoulders.

  • Add shipping in the title?

      Free shipping

      • thats great! but if you add that to the title you will get more bites

Pretty good. I have the compact version and it works well, great compatibility with emulators etc. This one should be a lot closer to a proper controller.

Yep, it's probably half-way between the iPega PG-9017 and a standard console controller.

  • Some time ago I picked up the nyko for around 10 odd dollars, I have to say I also haven't used it, tried for a few minutes to get it to work on dead trigger 2 but was interrupted and that was 6 months ago.

What I don't get is why it was only for some games, surely the protocols are all standard these days?

    • These support both HID and Joystick modes in Android so you're pretty covered. Though, if you splurge, MOGA controllers have the widest compatibility.

    • +1

The Nyko Playpad is an awful controller when it comes to actually using it, the analog controls are especially painful to use. Actually found this ipega controller to be pretty comfortable.

Protocols aren't 100% standard between bluetooth controllers for some reason, but as stated above, this one's pretty good.

  • Has anyone ever tried plugging their tablet into the TV or using a chromecast to turn their tablet into a console?

    • Chromecast for their tablet as a console ?

Yes plug in my tablet using the MHL cables seems to work ok.

    • Chromecast will give you way too much lag.

  • These work ok with Windows 10?

    • I've had mixed support on Windows with this one. Best looking at something like the Tronsmart Mars G01 or, ideally, an Xbox 360 controller with Windows adapter.

      • I've got an x360 controller. Specifically looking for a bluetooth one actually.

  • I wonder if this would work with Apple TV 4?

  • i dont think this is a decent deal at all. found one seller on ebay selling for $26.95 and it may arrive earlier that tmart?

    • that`s your shop ?

      • no it's not my shop. i just did quick ebay search.

    • And with cash rewards you'll get a further 50 cents off.

  • For what it's worth. I received mine yesterday. It won't turn on. (I was charged overnight). Tmart have said I will have to send the item back and they will send me a replacement. They are offering 30% of the item cost for return postage which doesn't cover the cheapest AusPost postage. Sigh.
