I bought some last time they were this price and they are great value. They are quite thick quality material so they are not really suited to the Australian summer.

Some are thicker than others but in my experience these wick moisture very well. You won't have sweat patches hanging around all day with these bad boys.

    • Curious to know which shirt you bought? I tend to find them as quite thin, but it does vary from shirt to shirt.

      • I find them quite thin too.

      • I bought the Buckingham weave non-iron Slim fit and the Egyptian cotton cavalry twill Slim fit. I might give the poplin ones a go.

    • How did you find the sizes with the slim/classic/extra slim shirts?

    • From my experience the non-iron poplin range are quite thin whilst the herringbone, bengal ones are averagely thick.

I've only ever bought extra slim shirts 39cm and I'm of slim-avg build, 74kg, and found them to be a good fit, comfortable at the workplace. Definitely not very fitted, chest is OK but roomy around the waist.

Worth mentioning that Charles Tyrwhitt has changed shirt sizing - extra slim fit should really be extra slim fit now. http://www.shirtdetective.com/charles-tyrwhitt-review/
Had some shirts from them before and had to get them altered to fit properly.
Good thing is they offer free shipping label, if you are not happy with the product just put it back in the box and send it back.

    • so if I normally wear M (regular fit) from Oxford, should I still get M or S?
      Thanks.

      • I wear M from Oxford, and I bought couple from CT. Returned and then changed size to fit. Sleeve length i chose was 86cm and collar 39. I had to compromise on collar size though, but I dont wear tie so not a problem for me

So if I like the slim fits from TM Lewin, do I go with the slim fits for CT now? Or do I still go with the extra slims from what I've read on previous CT OZB threads? Anyone with advice/experience would be greatly appreciated!

    • That website has the smallest size extra slim fit waist measurement as 34in. For someone who wears 30in trousers that's still too big or am I doing this wrong?

  • I've ordered a few on "extra slim fit". Just the right size. I am not that "slim".

I like TM Lewin better. Slightly thicker material.

Nonetheless $40 a shirt is good.

    • Would you say the Slim Fit for TM Lewin = Extra Slim Fir for CT?

      Thanks!

My slim fit CT is slim fit TM. However my CT shirts are quite old so as someone said the sizes have possibly changed.

I got extra slim fit (3 sizes, extra slim is the smallest one) for CT, which is pretty comfortable on me.

I got "fitted" (TM Lewin has 4 sized, fitted being the second smallest) is slightly bigger than the CT extra slim fit on me, but still fits well. I think can go one down.

        • @googleyahoo69: Super fitted is actually super fitted haha. Much more restrictive in my opinion, but very nice looking if you can fit into them.

  • thanks ordered.

  • Whats my size. yd. extra small fits me really well

I think even extra slim fit will look baggy on you then. You might want to check out TML with their super fitted range.

Hi all. One month ago I bought the non-iron casual, medium slim fit. I had to send it back (free exchange and postage) as it was too baggy on me. I exchanged it for a small size and all is good.

I am 76kg, 5'11, average build. The material is quite thick (poplin) but wasn't hot to wear even though I get hot quite easily.

The free delivery takes a while but it's clearly stated and I'm impressed with this company so have ordered three more. Certified bargain!

    Good luck!

    • Apologies. I bought the Blue non-iron twill Slim fit shirt CA236BLU and it was quite thick.

    • i've probably similar dimensions as you. Which shirt size did you end up going with? Extra slim? 38 collar and 84 arms?

  • cant use this code with Cashrewards…. please help

When I checkout, it stops working? Anyone else have this problem?

  • I like the cut of the Extra Slim Fit on the CT shirts (at least on my 2yr old one) and find it fits me well even though I'm not slim (85kg/181cm).

Just got my order quite impressed with the speed of the delivery. The quality of the material is excellent. However the fitting of the business shirt is very unusual.

I'm normally a size 39 euro fit. Van Heusen euro fit (with longer sleeves) or Ben Sherman shirts fits well. I have found that with these CT shirts (Slim Fit) around the waistline is a bit baggy. So if you have a pot belly it's more comfortable. However around my chest the sizing is a bit tight. Its like they got the sizing upside down where the chest area normally has more room and towards the waistline gets a bit tighter.

One thing I do like about these shirts is that it's long which means that it gets tucked into your pants neater and stays there longer.

    • You can fill-out the exchange slip enclosed, and ask for an Extra Slim Fit in the next size up. The return and replacement mail are both free.
I was lucky enough to be in London and figure out my size in the store, which gave me the confidence to mail order. But as they're offering free mail on this offer there really is no downside to switching it till your happy.

PS Wearing my newly delivered CT shirt today - very happy with it. Just as happy with my 2 year old one bought in London, it's wearing well. Both are a pleasure to iron too.
