I was wondering what would be a good size for a Tv in my room for gaming mostly, and secondly, what would be a reasonably priced purchase option?
I was thinking maybe something from Kogan because they are generally quite cheap to other companies, but anyone have any experience with their product quality?

I wouldnt go bigger then 32 inch myself, for a bedroom, maybe 40 if you want really big.

the DSE GE6987 40" LCD for under $300 is the best value TV out there
just use external speakers
IMO 32" is a wasteland of 768p HD old shit so I would avoid it.
Aldis did have a $200 32" FHD set that looked nice but they dont sell it any more and it has spotty reliability.

I have a 36", it's a Sony KVHR36M31. Paid $100 on Gumtree for it, plays all my old retro consoles and even PS4/XBone with HDFury IV ($400 from Soundcorp, HDMI to Component converter) and the colors are superb, no latency too.
what price are you thinking of? $300, $1000?
