It's basically an updated version of the Siberia V2 (which got a lot of good reviews, editor's picks, etc) with an adapter for the XB1. A few people reviewed the V3 as a downgrade from the V2, not sure about the X300.
You can still pick up the V2 for about $80 at some PC part shops that still have them in stock and you can pick up a Sennheiser audio combo adapter for $30 delivered from MWave.

Was just looking at Xbox one headsets earlier today. This is a good price for this one, reviews seem positive as well.
Would you say consider it a reliable headset?
