    I got my second Quiksilver backpack last year. The one before that was only discarded because I sweat into it a bit over 7 years since I first got it. Apart from smell it barely looked worn after using it for work every day.

    The new one is going just as strong.

    I don't know anything about Burtons, but I can tell you these Quicksilver backpacks are great. I bought one about 8 or 9 years ago I think and it's still going strong. Every other bag I've ever owned has had a zip or seam or something break after a few years, but this one doesn't have a single thing wrong with it other than being dirty after 9 years of use.

      Pretty much. A standard backpack like this, made in perhaps vietnam, shouldn't be 50 on discount

  The FRENZy code doesnt seem to be working with the bag (whihc is more than $50) to qualify for free ship
  Also tried the pencil case and bag combo still no joy :(

    Yes, it dropped it to $48.99
    This is before shipping is calculated though
    Didn't go any further so I don't if shipping will be free or not ?

  Not a big fan or surf gear (IMHO usualy overpriced & poor quality), but i can voucher that these are quality back packs.
  (if they had better back and waist support i would have bought one for hiking/camping)
