These copies are cheap plastic, back in the day, if I remember correctly, they were metal and very durable.

Are you saying they are fakes?

      • +1

ive bought from 1-day, they sell originals

The F-91W at least is not a copy, it's been produced continuously in its current form for almost a quarter of a century.

In my experience Casio watches are very durable, even though they're plastic. The weakest link in my experience is typically the resin wrist band, and if you're concerned about that I'd recommend getting a similar model with a stainless steel band (e.g. an A158w).

Not all of them were metal, some were plastic, just like these ones.

  • I want the classic solar Casio watch can't find it anywhere?

Careful ordering the F91W as the government will start taking an interest in you http://gizmodo.com/5795554/people-wearing-this-casio-watch-m…

  • I used one of these for travelling. Light, sturdy, accurate, and not worth enough for someone to steal or attract attention. IIRC I paid about $12 on ebay for mine.

  • Bought one of these for $18 on ebay a few years ago. It's now my favourite watch! Light, accurate, waterproof and old school stylish.

    Edit: actually, mine is W-800H

  • Casio are easily my favorite watch brand. I currently own and use the Casio Men's 100m Digital Watch. Paid around $30 for it a few years back and love it. Light weight and accurate with all the functions you need. Plus a long 10 year battery life. I'd also recommend reading the manual that comes with the watch. You'll find out that it has more functions than what you may find just by using it.

As mentioned above the plastic strap loops and band usually go first on these. Only had to change the watch band once a few months back in all the time I have owned it. Very easy to find replacements as its a common size.

  • Any opinions on this one? comes to about ~$33 after discount.

  • similar-ish price here http://www.monstertradingstore.com.au/
they also have calculators and steel ones

    • +1

lol how is it similar .. They are more expensive

  • i said similar-ish and please understand the difference between the words 'similar' and 'same'.
the f91w is the same price
the site i linked has the calculator watch which some people seemed interested in and youre not forced to buy it within 20 hours

  • No paypal..anyone bought from here ? are they fake or authentic?

    • Bought many times from this website, don't worry they are authentic.

  • Does anybody know if Casio ever produced the double Casio watch featured in the 1st Alien movie? Sigourney Weaver wears it and was replicated on the game Alien: Isolation. I'd love one of those.

"Casio produced their very first plastic watch, the F-100 in 1977. […] The watch was so futuristic and unconventional that it was used in the 1979 movie Alien and worn by Sigourney Weaver's character. What you see on screen is actually a modified F-100. The movie makers glued two F-100 watches together and painted the button codes red and blue."

I found a replica watch from the movie here, but it's currently out of stock:
