One Year’s Free Subscription to The SkinVision App (Valued at $38.99)

60

To do our part for Skin Cancer Action Week and to celebrate our official launch in Australia, we are giving all Australians one year’s free subscription to the SkinVision app (valued at $38.99). This means you can take as many photographs of moles as you like and analyse them for free for one full year.
It’s important to keep on top of skin checks to catch any suspicious moles early, and with one year’s free access to the SkinVision app you can do this in the convenience of your own home and in your own time! You’ll also enjoy the benefit of archiving photos throughout the year so you can easily notice any changes to suspicious moles – so you can get to your doctor in time.

This promotion is only valid during Skin Cancer Action Week from 15 – 22 November. So download it now and start taking control of your skin health!

  • So you take photos of your skin & upload them to their server & self analyse? And the In App Purchases?
The review (on Play store) absolutely trash the app). Mollies Fund app looks similar & is free.

Skin checks are bulk billed at most doctors

  • I foresee this app, and others like it, having a fairly short lifespan. I expect the TGA will decide they are being presented as diagnostic medical devices and crush them for not being approved.

(Info on regulation of medical software here: https://www.tga.gov.au/regulation-medical-software-and-mobil…)

Edit: My mistake. In stark contrast to most apps, this one is actually TGA approved.

  • wouldn't the quality of photos be crap on a phone?
