Unless you have kids I don't see the value in Eneloops, most devices: phones, tablets have their own battery.

  Yep. Don't believe the hype on OzB. Only use I can find them for is a flashgun (for a DSLR) in my household.

I wasted to share this info (as found on WP), as the much revered Japanese Eneloops appear to have a brother.

It's not deal as such as I assume the cost is in $USD and not sure if they would deliver, but certainly cheaper then we can buy them.
