People who complain about it being heavy need to spend a full day shooting an event with 2 pro bodies, 14-24, 70-200 and a flash on one of the bodies. Then you'll know what heavy is. Gives you swole forearms though ;-)

Bought this few months before and I love it.
Even those few classic successful shots of my kids were worth 2 grand…i got it to take pics of my kids running around as well :D
Touche :o) Yeah, kids running around doing sport activities, not around the house, my 24-70 2.8 didn't really cope with the distance… unfortunately the box didn't come with skills and the eye for composition too, otherwise I might give up my day job…
Excellent price for local stock. Brilliant lens for the serious enthusiast or working pro.
