Here's some more 1tb range SSD deals for you.

First up for anyone that missed the last Sandisk 960gb deal (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/221078) , its back, but this time with a 2-4 week delay. Second is the Crucial MX200 1tb drive for cheaper than normal, but slightly more than the UK Samsung EVO 1tb posted earlier from UK.

Main difference is Crucial has a tonne more almost-enterprise level features (Power Loss Protection and Encryption), and has a history for being a reliable SSD brand.

Wish I didn't already have too many SSDs lying around, otherwise would've jumped on this. Please buy them so they're out of stock by the time I give in :P

  Yes, I can see the prices drop week by week. Hopefully sometime next year I'll be able to upgrade my laptop to SSD 1TB with maybe $150 price tag (close to normal HDD)

  My one arrived and sadly is a dud :(

  Was halfway through restoring an image when it stopped working or showing up. Took it out and tried in 3 HDD caddies and see the option to iniatalize the disk but returns the response "disk not ready".

  Is anyone familiar with the returns process from Aus to US through Amazon?

      Turns out the return process is pretty easy, actually had the replacement before Christmas and they refunded about half of the return cost.

      New one works fine.
